THE UNDENIABLE TRUTHS ABOUT GAMBLING SYSTEMS
In my years as a player, a dealer, and a pit boss, I’ve learned three things about gambling systems.
1. There are no new systems. Surf the Internet or (God forbid!) get on a gambling mailing list, and you’ll read about thousands of systems for everything from blackjack to horse racing. But when you fork over your hard-earned cash for these secret systems, you receive the same tired old systems that have been floating around gambling circles since the invention of the wheel. Sure, some people have been able to put a little twist or two to the method, but the principles stay the same. And none of them work.
2. They all win (sometimes), and they all lose (eventually). As I’ve said before, people with far more brains, far more computing power, and far more time on their hands have all tackled these games. They’ve tried every system, method, and trick they can think of. And you know what? Sometimes the systems do work … for a while. But if you sit there at one table and continue to play, every system is going to fail - I absolutely guarantee it. There is just no way you can hope to plant your butt in one seat and overcome the inevitable losing streaks.
3. Nobody believes me. Try as I might, despite my years of experience, when I tell people that gambling systems don’t work, no one believes me. My friends will say, “But I was reading this brochure from a guy who promised that his system was completely different from anything that’s ever been done before.” And the next time I see that friend, he’ll say, “You know what, you were right. That system I bought was complete BS.” Even after reading this post, you’re probably going to ignore my advice and try a few systems, maybe buy a few systems, and then lose a small fortune before you finally come around and realize that no “mathematical” mechanical system will make you rich.
I’ve seen systems advertised for peanuts and I’ve seen systems selling for thousands, all promising to turn your local casino into a bottomless pit of crisp hundred dollar bills. But I beg you, before you fork over any money - even if it’s only $20 - ask yourself these questions:
• If it’s so good, why in the world would he sell it? Wouldn’t he want to keep the “secret” to himself and not split any of the profits?
• How come you’ve never heard of him? If he was able to make such easy money, don’t you think he’d be in Time magazine? Or at least the Weekly World News?
• If his method is so foolproof, why don’t the casinos stop people from using it? Trust me: If there was an easy and profitable system for winning money at a casino, the casino would quickly come up with measures to stop it.
Things differ with online casinos, explore it yourself and enjoy gambling and winning!
